Squib 578 Last Gasp

For sale following recent death of spouse who saw the irony in this being his
final boat project.
Last Gasp is a sound boat in need of prepping and painting to get sailing this
season. Hyde main, jib and 2 spinnakers (standard & lightweight), new
standing rigging. Much new running rigging and bundles of new dynema to
complete the job. Mainly Harken and Selden fittings. Two whale hand pumps
plus a pair of electric bilge pumps, battery and associated pipes etc (never
fitted). Two bow buoyancy bags (and 2 spares) and paddle. Cockpit, winter and
boom covers.
Fully galvanised, unbraked Squib-specific launching trailer with Y-frame at bow,
docking arms, front ladder & spare wheel, manufactured by Mersea Trailers.
Purchased new in 2022 – only been in the water once. Not a road trailer
according to company website. New lighting board in case need to trail
without boat on it. Really youre buying a brand new Mersea trailer for £2,000
and getting a Squib for free!
